How the Ranking Engine Works

The tool offers two modes. Summary Mode: It sorts the selected column and calculates the exact values that represent the 25th (Q1), 50th (Median/Q2), 75th (Q3), 90th, and 99th percentiles. Row Ranking Mode: It evaluates every single row against the whole dataset and appends a new column with a percentile score (e.g., scoring a row '85%' meaning the value is higher than 85% of the other rows). The engine uses the standard `PERCENTILE.INC` mathematical logic.
